Dallas-Portland games: so ugly only a mother could love them.

Good news, bad news. We moved back ahead of Portland but Dallas clinched a higher seed than us. The Thunder can now only finish anywhere from 4th to 8th now.

After the last two games, I didn't really expect to be anywhere higher than 6th, to be honest with you. But, we'll see. This team has surprised me all season. Of course now seedings are dependent on other teams' performances as well, and that is out of our hands.

There is only one NBA game on Saturday that directly affects the Thunder's playoff position:

Spurs at Nuggets, 8pm Central time

Any games the rest of the way involving only the Lakers, Nuggets, and Mavericks are irrelevant as the Thunder can't catch them though playoff position for those top 3 spots will become something to watch.

Go Nuggets on Saturday night!

Come on! Really?
SAS has a 20 point lead over Nugs late fourth?
Good grief.

No doubt.. had you asked me what the Spurs record would be from thepast two games, I would've said 1-1 but would've got the order backwards. Grizzlies really helped us out last night.

What happened to Denver tonight? Did Melo lay down the whole game?

Haha, watch what you say before the Denver Post gets a hold of this.

Lakers didn't help out the Thunder on Sunday when they lost to Portland. Besides OKC needing to win tonight, we also need Houston to get the upset at Phoenix tonight. If Phoenix wins or OKC loses to the Warriors, that guarantees that the Thunder can't get the 4thSeed (or higher) in the playoffs.

These are the relevant matchups on Monday in regards to either where the Thunder finish or their possible opponents (1st or 2nd or 3rd Seed only):

Quote:
Monday, April 12
MATCHUP TIME (Central time)
Minnesota at San Antonio 7:30 PM
Memphis at Denver 8:00 PM
Oklahoma City at Portland 9:00 PM
Dallas at LA Clippers 9:30 PM
Games directly affecting the Thunder:
GO THUNDER!!!! and GO T-WOLVES!!!! (well, the Nets did beat the Spurs recently)

Games affecting possible future 1st round playoff opponets:
GO GRIZZLIES!!! (knock the Nuggets down to 5th hopefully)
GO CLIPPERS!!! (mess with the Mavs confidence as we could play them if not the Lakers)
