03/10/2010 Hornets @ Thunder (regular season 63 of 82)
New Orleans Hornets (32-32) at Oklahoma City Thunder (38-24), 7pm Central time tipoff at the Ford Center on Wednesday night.
This is the last of three meetings this season between these teams. Both teams won on the road in the first 2 games. The game will be shown on KSBI-TV, Thunder TV. The Thunder have won 14 of their last 17 games overall and are 19-11 at home this season and this is the first of a 3 game homestand. The Hornets are 11-21 away from home this season including 0-6 in their last 6 road games. 'Your Hometown Hornets' will be playing without the injured Chris Paul but have a very capable backup in Darren Collison'. |

The Hornets never go down without a fight and Collison has been very good, so we need to be sharp. If we take them lightly, they could sneak up and bite us, but I'm sure they already know by now not to sleep on this team, with or without CP3. As long as we come out ready to play, we should get it done.

I think this game will be closer than what I would have liked.
THUNDER - 101 TNOH (Their New Orleans Hornets)- 98 Marcus Thornton has been on a tear lately. What does Thabo hold him to? 17 points.

The Thunder defense needs to step up to make sure we win this game. The Hornets will battle us to the end. Remember, we haven't beat the Hornets yet in the Ford Center plus it would give us the tiebreaker (though it may not matter now) in the season series.
