Shaq has been in good from lately, which likely means swift will get squashed like the little orange lady bug that he is.

We need to be agressive in this one - make the suns react to us not hte other way around.
Not feling confident, but we gave them a good shake last time.

    Go THUNDER!

MAKE A F%%%%%% FREE THROW. SHAQ MADE 2 IN A ROW, and westbrook and mason went 0-4 in the last few minutes.

Oh my lord this is UUUGGGGLLYYYYYY

KD never got it going. We are making PHX defense look great. Oh dear what a shambles. Westbrook however has played quite well.

Turnoves and Offensive boards have pretty much given us no chance.
Need a micicle to win this now - 8 down 3.17 to go.

The Thunder couldn't foul effectively tonight. The let Shaq get the 'and one' too many times and then he also made the 'and one'. Plus the Thunder missed about 10 FT's in the first half. They really need to work on that. Great shooting night by Westbrook from the field. It almost reminded me of that night Peja scored about 21 points in a row for 'that other team'. Beavis should have also been shouting 'fire! fire! fire!' like that night. LOL

::banghead:: The Boomers just couldn't get out of their own way in that 2nd half. Rough loss. Hope things get better but it still looks bleak.

Are you sure that Swift didn't realize play had stopped?

lol that definitely is in the course of play. The Suns are providing an example of the Ole defense.

I thought Swift played pretty well. I know it has been said a thousand times but if he could stay healthy he and Krstic could provide us with a nice combo at center.

Swift's post defense for the most part was solid although he did get caught fronting Shaq too far from the basket a couple of times. His rotation defense was very solid though.

Last night's game is a perfect example of what baffles me so much about this team. You can see the promise they have. Westbrook is explosive, Durant (although he had a very poor shooting night) is incredibly talented and Jeff Green is good at everything (thought not GREAT at any one thing). The team is right there on the cusp of winning a huge game at home over a team with a better than .500 record and then they start the 4th by going 5:00 without a single point.

Eight turnovers in the fourth quarter (they had seven TOTAL going into the fourth) doomed them to another night of just being competitive.

The fourth quarter is the time this team needs an experienced point guard to control the offense. Watson has not proven he is that guard. It looks lately that Watson's only interest is being on the passing end of a Sportscenter highlight with his behind the back and between the legs passes. He set the tone to start the fourth by driving the baseline more than once and turning the ball over.

This team does need several parts to be a playoff contender but it only needs one or two to win games like last night.
