Down 24, then win, and control the 2nd half.

    They are really, really good.

I know it's the Jazz and Clippers, but still impressive with how easy they win.

The Clippers are like us. The only easy baskets are in transition. They get nothing in the post.

The spurs looks unstoppable... they just have so many options and depth. Honestly, I don't see any flaw in their game and they have the greatest coach in the NBA. When we face them it should be interesting... Offensively they outmatch the thunders as a team. They kind of remind me of 08-09 magics with just a whole bunch of three point shooters, better pg who can penetrate the defense, Manu is just harden but more experience and duncan who has the greatest post moves. I thought okc could hang in with them but I don't see that happening unless durant westbrook and harden get 40+ minutes a night( fatigue keeps in though )
I think the key of winning against the spurs trying to contain duncan and parker. Duncan gets so much boards against us this season but doesn't shoot well when ibaka and perkins is playing defense on him. I have a few thoughts on how to slow Duncan down. Fisher should not be getting more than 5 minutes in this series because there is no one in the spurs i can see him playing defensive against.

1.Perkins is probably the best low post defender in the game at the moment. Have him play man to man defense on duncan with ibaka with the the wing for contested shot. Ibaka is a great defensive helper but mana to man duncan always outsmarts him.

    2. Parker just abuses westbrook in the regular season and I feel the same will happen in the playoffs. Our best bet is to put thabo on parker even though parker is faster then him, thabo would still be able to contain him with a zone defense.

    3. We cant leave the spurs open for threes if we do, it will be a long night for the thunders. The spurs are a great 3 point shooting team. So okc can't double too much or it will hurt them in the long run.

    4. thunders need to rebound like their life depended on it to make up for the amount of turnovers we will get against them.
(cole should get more minutes than narz in this.)

If we don't start doing this against the Lakers, we'll never see the Spurs. Nazr is completely finished.

I can't wait until this series is over with LA, their bigs are killing us inside.

Spurs have decent bigs, but Bynum/Gasol/Hill are getting every board so it seems.

We have better players & better inside out game.
I think Harden should start in all of the series.
    Lineup's like this:

    Perk
    Ibaka
    KD
    Harden
    Westbrook/Fisher

Put sefolosha on hold since we must own them from 3pt range.

Thabo did miss the game when parker had 45 on us. It should be a good series. I don't see either team rolling through the series. The spurs are good but they haven't really played a top team in the playoff yet and haven't really been tested in the fourth quarter in any of their games. We must play solid defense on them. Been watching the spurs since the beginning of the playoffs and they just seem to capitalize on places where the defense makes a mistake. All of our players must be alert on defense. If a player is going to help on the drive he must fully commit to it and not play halfway. The spurs love the high pick and roll and then kick it out to the open man. We have to play great defense to beat this team.

Thabo will definitely need to play plenty of minutes. The Spurs go small quite a bit.

    We do too.

Should we finish off LA, i'd go..

    Russ on Parker
    Thabo on Manu
    Harden on Leonard
    KD on Diaw
    Perk/Ibaka on Duncan

I was thinking the same thing to because with ibaka and perk in the lineup, Spurs versatility well hurt us. They have a great inside-outside game. I expect alot fo three point attempts from the spurs. Playing man to man would be okc best bet because if one of them gets open 60% chance it will go in. Danny Green and Kawhi Leonard just doesn't seem to miss open threes. Same goes for garl neal, jackson and expected bonner.

In the words of Stephen A. Smith: "The Jazz? really..the jazz..the spurs have swept the jazz. I don't see John Stockton walking through that door..I don't see karl malone walking through that door! I don't see jeff hornacek walking through that door!"

He's right. The jazz are bad, the rockets should and would have gotten the 8th seed had martin and lowry been healthy .. The clippers aren't good to begin with, but it doesnt help that cp3 is hurt and blake griffin is like the #1 option.

OKC was averaging like what, 14-16 turnover's a game during the regular season? they have been having around 4 to 5 during these playoffs (the ice didnt help last night). Also, when OKC played the spurs, thabo was out, and reggie was in. Big difference with cook starting and having ivey and jackson make up for maynor and cook's minutes.. keep those things in mind. Plus, Russell is not the russell from the beginning of the season. AT ALL.

If a broke down clippers team with a 2nd year player in blake griffin as the number one option can stay in the game with the spurs, OKC has more than good chances to beat them.

don't get me wrong the spurs are a great team but we are also a great team.. we have been tested a lot during these playoffs and we have played great basketball on both offense and defense when it matters the most (4th Q) the spurs on the other hand usually have a big enough lead to where the starters don't really have to execute during the last few minutes of the game.. I think if we play good D and stop the three point shot we will win this series in 6.

While I'm nervous about the Spurs games, I also know that they'll be incredibly fun to watch.

In the second half of game they come out even stronger. I wonder if clippers can steal even one. chris paul has been awful in the spurs series
