Hopefully after we sweep Memphis on Monday to win the season series 4-0, people will quit saying we need to avoid them in the playoffs.

Im predicting a loss here. Okc won 3 fairly close games this year against memphis and they are due for a loss now. Also memphis should be not only hungry because of that and last years loss in the playoffs but also because they battle for a good playoff spot. Okc will be much more focused again against the heat at miami and likely pull out a win there.

    Okc 93
    Memphis 99

    Durant scores 34 nevertheless

I would usually say we're due for a loss, but it's hard for me to go against us as well as we are playing right now.

    Trap game.

Thunder win anyway, because KP and Fish remind them about home court advantage. Starters got plenty of rest in an early game. Conley?...not sure yet.

Just one of those games. I think we were due to have an off night, and the effort was there. Some atrocious calls as well, but I won't blame refs for the L. Free throw shooting actually was a HUGE culprit.

We held them to under 40% FG shooting and we still lost. How did Memphis make 22 of 24 FT's? They have usually been pretty poor on them in recent years. Of course us having 18 TO's explains a lot. It did seem Memphis was pressuring our ball handlers a lot more than recent opponents had. Oh well, our 6 game winning streak comes to an end. We're still 40-13 overall and 23-5 at home. That is just fantastic!

Memphis looked like a team that sat and watched us play the Bulls yesterday. They also looked desperate for a win, and since this started a back to back to back for them, I guess the first one is the one you have to win. Kudos to Memphis for getting big buckets everytime we got within 1 or 2. On to the next statement game Wednesday. This one can quickly be forgotten with a road win at Miami.

She's a cruel mistress, the NBA...
