I noticed him on the roster in the box scores for the Portland game, that I missed because I'm still celebrating the NY Giants Super bowl win!!!!

I didn't see any threads about him being added to the roster....Why not pick up a guard? I assume for practice.

No, Ryan's been playing in the D-League for us all this season though he missed about a month with a broken nose. He last played on Sunday for Tulsa. He'll be up and down between OKC and Tulsa all season though it wouldn't surprise me if he never sees real NBA action all year.

Welcome to the new NBA. Four quarters of dance competition (Thunder Girls vs. the Laker Girls!) interrupted by brief displays of basketball.

Finish this sentence, 'I never leave home without _________'. 'Mascara, Cell phone and Pepper Spray' says Thunder Girl Hayley.

So why add him when we should be preserving the spot for a new PG back up which is an immediate need.

It isn't like he can't be released if need be.

If you playing at an .800 clip, I don't think you team has any " immediate " needs.

The only immediate need we have, is to get Reggie as much PT as possible.

And to get Thabo back in the starting line-up. Like someone said on the other board, that Reggie may look a lot better when the second unit gets another scoring option back in DCook.

He had a good training camp so they signed him to the 15 man roster back in December. He still counts on the roster now even when he is sent down to Tuilsa. They could always release Hayward if Presti found a backup PG but he likely will stick with what we have now.

That is not a winning mind state....We have the best record be we are still not the best team for a few reasons that are fixable.

We need easy points in the paint...We can't win a chip relying on just jump shots....Come playoff time, u see more half court sets and that is our weakness...maynor and Harden are our 2 best half court players (KD is up there as well)

We are an incredibly efficient offensive team (3rd best in the league) that scores from the 3 most efficient places on the floor consistently: Layups/dunks (this is actually where we take the highest percentage of our shots despite this "no easy scoring" theory, 3pt shots, and free throws (which we are among league leaders). Our biggest cause for concern come playoff time right now is not on the offensive end of the floor, but on the defensive. We are currently the 15th best defense in the league. No team outside of the top 10 in defensive efficiency has won an NBA title since the merger.

I agree with the thought: the Thunder's primary cause for concern is defense. However, the 2001 Lakers were horrible in terms of defensive efficiency, though they were obviously just dogging it until the playoffs.

Yeah, a really good team just took the Thunder to OT .... we can't tolerate that, we must beat everyone by 20 points, if not, then we blow up the team and start rebuilding.

Good gawwd man, you are sick.

Our bench is one of the best in the league. They just had a very poor night against Denver.

Our bench is missing Cook and Maynor right now, which makes it a significantly less effective group. We had Ivey and Jackson playing together at one point in time. On top of it, Harden had a relatively quiet night.

Which means because of injuries that our starters are going to have to carry us more for at least the next month with Thabo out.

Yeah, and we get some injuries, so we impact our future for a rent-a-player ??

    Naaahh

Rent-a-players fail more than they help.

Public Enemy needs to stop and smell the roses. Enjoy the challenge of the adversity created by injuries. The team is still winning.
