This game between the Oklahoma City Thunder (50-26) and the Denver Nuggets (47-29) will be played at the Pepsi Center in downtown Denver, Colorado.

Gametime is 8pm Central on Tuesday and the TV broadcast will be on Fox Sports Oklahoma. You can also listen to it on the radio station WWLS, The Sports Animal.

This is the third of four meetings between these teams. OKC won at home on Christmas Night and Denver won at home back in January. They meet for the final time and in OKC 3 days after this game in Denver.

The Thunder are 22-16 on the road this season and the Nuggets are 31-7 at home.

    Denver is a 4 point favorite and the over/under is 205 1/2.

Welcome to the new NBA. Four quarters of dance competition (Thunder Girls vs. the Laker Girls!) interrupted by brief displays of basketball.

Finish this sentence, 'I never leave home without _________'. 'Mascara, Cell phone and Pepper Spray' says Thunder Girl Hayley.

This game scares the crap out of me. Not only is Denver a defensive team now, but they are also very long on the perimeter. Their 2 guard (Chandler) is 6'8" and their SF (Gallo) is 6'11". Not a very good recipe if we decide to play a jump-shooting game on the offensive end.

As much as the loss sucked to the Clippers, very rarely have we seen the team show a mental collapse or lack of confidence that has carried over to the next game. I'm hoping for something along the lines of the Heat game a few weeks ago.

I'll play the realist here. I think we will split the next two games with Denver, with each team winning at home. Our guys need to bounce back and play well and give themselves a chance to win in the 4th quarter.

    Thunder - 103
    Nuggets - 109

    Harden scores 20

its just something im feeling. with the way we have played the last 2 games im thinking the guys are gonna want to make a statement. im sure they realize people are questioning them and their ability to get it done. i believe kd will break out of his slump and russ will not have another game like his last one again this season. we are gonna put it togather now.

GameNight Preview is up on the Blog page http://www.okcthunderfans.com/?p=714

    Magic # to Lockup the 4th seed - 4

    Match-Up to Watch out for
Kendrick Perkins vs. Nene Hilario - While he may not be their leading scorer, the Denver offense is run inside out, with Nene either trying to score on 1 on 1 coverage or finding one the perimeter players for a 3 if the double team comes. With Perkins, we now have someone that can attempt to guard Nene 1 on 1, which allows our perimeter defenders to stay home and defend the shooters.

    Keys to the game
    1) Challenge their bigs. While, Nene may be offensively gifted, he is a liability on the defensive end. With Chris Andersen likely out, their best post defender will be Kenyon Martin. Timofey Mozgov is still learning the game and is a liability defensively also.

    2) Stay at home with the shooters. Not only do the Nuggets have good shooters, they also have streaky good shooters that can go off on any night (JR Smith, Gallo, and Harrington come to mind). With our bigs manning the paint, help from a perimeter player should only come every once in a while, not most of the time.

    3) Maintain your emotions and keep your composure. This is probably the first of, at the least, 5 more meetings between these two teams within the next 2 weeks. Emotions will be high with a playoff atmosphere surrounding the game. Its time to start maturing and showing that we can’t be rattled in big games.
This game still scares me, but I think our boys show a little resolve and a little resilliancy and come out with a tough victory.

    Thunder - 101
    Nuggets - 98

KD has a good all around game with 31 points, 7 boards, and 3 assists.

This is about as big as a regular season game can be. Our probable first-round matchup, and if we win, we're in much better shape to hold onto home-court advantage.
