Anyone else watching this and notice the amount of cheering when Lakers score ? There's a bunch of Laker fans in their arena, something we did not have in the playoff games.

It may be partly that it is closer to L.A. I think it helped us that season ticket members here could buy quite a few extra tickets (but not all) before the general public had their chance. I don't know how they did it for Utah.

Wouldn't you know that game 3 came down to a last second tip in and it went the Lakers way again. I'm still debating whether we should root for L.A. to cruise through the rest of the playoffs so it makes our playoff run look better or for them to lose.

Welcome to the new NBA. Four quarters of dance competition (Thunder Girls vs. the Laker Girls!) interrupted by brief displays of basketball.

Finish this sentence, 'I never leave home without _________'. 'Mascara, Cell phone and Pepper Spray' says Thunder Girl Hayley.

SportsCenter interviewed the Jazz TV play-by-play guy this afternoon. He said that a lot of people have moved from LA to SLC recently, so he expected a lot of Laker fans in the crowd.

What's so b.s. about that statement? Just curious on why you say that.

The Laker fans are everywhere, Orlando's arena had huge numbers of them during the finals last year, even in the lower level seats.

OKC did a good job of shutting them out. It may have been the ticket prices that did the trick.

I agree, I think a lot of season ticket holders held on to their tickets, also. I know I did. I got two extra and my family was happy we had them. Although, I did give away the two to Dio for game 4, family was out of town for that one.

Yeah, I thought LA was going to lose the game last night just like we did, with Deron's missed shot getting tipped in. How ironic that the Lakers won just like we lost the last game.

I don't care if the Lakers winning make us look better. I want Phoenix to beat them. I know that affects our pick, but I just can't stand the thought of them making the finals and us playing them so close. It give you a "what might have been" nightmare.

I think the Suns just might run the table, they are playing great basketball. It seems everyone on their team is playing at a high level. And if they get Brooks Lopez back, they will be unstoppable on offense.

Not me, I watch as much of it as time will allow, or that I can stay up for. Those late games are tough.

I'm watching as much as I can. I have noticed that I sometimes fall asleep in the middle of the really late games.

I am still watching the games but don't arrange my schedule around the Basketball telecasts. The pizzazz is gone but interest is still there, slightly.

However, the East STINKS. Almost all of the games have been blow-outs or storm from behind and blow-by wins.
