Mine is the DENVER BRONCOS!
Just like with baseball, I've listed the teams closest to OKC. If your favorite is outside of this area, just choose "other" and let us know who you like!

The Niners.
The Vikings! Not only do they have AD, but they were my team growing up. Now, about the quarterback situation......

Hello, my name is Ken, and I am a Detroit Lions fan.

When we steal the Raiders from Oakland......
OKC Raiders.
I like it.
Since noone wants to be the first....
AMERICA's TEAM - THE COWBOYS
How bout them Cowboys.
Just didn't get here soon enough.
When I first moved to Mich. I started following the Lions, this is back when Barry Sanders was still on the roster. Other than Barry, they sure were hard to watch. I mean, they would win the games you expected them to lose and lose the games you expected them to win. Anyway once Barry retired, I gave up on them.

San Francisco 49ers. Not a mid 80's bandwagoner. Growing up on the east bay, my Dad was a Raiders fan but instead of throwing the nerf football around with me, he wanted to watch the Raiders so I rebelled and followed the team across the bay.
I go back to '79 when Walsh was a rookie head coach, they went 2-14, OJ Simpson and Paul Hofer were in the backfield, Steve Deberg was the starting QB and they had a rookie backup QB that they drafted in the 3rd round out of Notre Dame. Joe something....Joe Idaho? Wyoming? ahhh, Montana, that's right.![]()
Wow, I'm actually the 3rd Detroit Lions fan in this thread. My first favorite OU football player was Steve Owens. I even met him when I was a kid. He later played for the Lions for 5 seasons before retiring. Later Billy Sims was drafted by the Lions and I kept rooting for them. Though I have never been an OSU fan, I continued rooting for the Lions when Barry Sanders played for them. I continue to be a fan despite their long time losing record (since Barry retired).
I wouldn't be a good Lions fan unless I said, 'FIRE MATT MILLEN!!'![]()
Gotta love the Broncos - they're what I call my 1b team (Saints being 1a). Spent nearly six years on the Front Range in Co Spgs and Denver and fell in love with the area. Were it not for family here in Louisiana, I'd still be there. Don't get me wrong, Louisiana's all right but am just a little hurricane-fatigued right now.
Anyway, back to the topic at hand. I went to the first-ever game at Invesco Field in 2001 - well the first PREseason game which matched 'em up with the Saints. Wore my Saints jersey there & got ribbed big time but I wouldn't trade that experience for anything.
Guaranteed to be a bittersweet Sunday as of course the Broncos and Saints play one another. Really really torn. But I've sure enjoyed Cutler & Royal putting up the points these past two weeks and getting a leg up in the West. Sure didn't see that coming to be honest with you - hope it keeps up regardless of Sunday's outcome.![]()
Cowboys! All the way!
New stadium opens up next season and it`s gonna be cool to finaly get to see in person a Super Bowl!
