Hey, I am in my ticket manager for my season tickets and it has the First playoff game for Monday, April 30th @ 7pm. Game 2 says TBD.
So, I don't know if thats written in stone, but thats what it says!

This says the NBA playoffs start on Saturday, April 28th. I doubt they stretch the games 1's over 3 days, just 2 days as usual.

Mine says that too, it would surprise me they would have the date and time set for game 1 already, even off the record. We'll just have to see I guess.

I seriously doubt its on Monday because the NBA breaks up its 8 playoff series Game 1's into the first 2 days of the playoffs. Its my favorite time of year. Quadruple headers for two days. Its the Game 2's and on that can be staggered.

Thunder season ends Wednesday 25th, but does every team's season end on that day ? If some have games Thursday or even Friday , in order to give some degree of equal day's off, they may need to stagger opening weekend into Monday.
And I think anything that happened in the past, does not apply to this year.

Most teams play the following day, Thursday the 26th including the Spurs at 9:30pm Central. That could be a quick turnaround for them unless they play Sunday night.

I just double checked something, the season has always (in recent years) ended on a Wednesday. With the peculiar season schedule and with the final regular season games on Thursday this year, our playoffs could very well start on Monday, spreading all the games 1's over 3 days.

ESPN and TNT schedules indicate quadruple headers that weekend... Our first game will be in one of those eight spots unless the schedule gets really funky.

I just checked my ticket account manager and when I clicked into "Manage My Tickets", it now shows "TBD" like it did when they first posted the games on there. It'll be either the 28th or 29th.

As a guess, around when will tickets go on sale? I'd love to come down for a playoff game. I live in Kansas City so it would take a bit of planning but I hope I can make it work.

The fact the season ends one day later though makes me think some games will have to be on Monday though. I just don't think they would take away one off day before the playoffs begin.

^ All bets are off this year and I believe for the first time there will even be back to back playoff games this year in an effort to wrap up the Finals around the same time as always despite the fact the playoffs are starting later. All Game 1's will be that weekend. That leaves 8 potential slots for the Thunder with the 2:30 Sunday slot being the least likely by far.
