1st, to anyone who may have linked to any of my Phoenix pics ... I misdated them and have corrected the photo dates (part of the file name) from what they were (11/28) to what they should have been (11/25). Probably, this doesn't affect anyone, but I say this just in case -- links will need to be changed.

2nd, Taos, thanks so much ... produces much faux pride, but, as you will see, undeserved. Coming from a high-quality professional such as you, I hate to make this correction to what you said (trust me, I very earnestly hate it).

I had a long lens (for me, less so for you) for these pics. And it takes no time (and a few bad pics) to learn that camera stability is more important when using a longer than a shorter more normal lens. And I had no tripod with me.

So, when I took the pic about which you gave me such a nice compliment about water reflections ...

... the truth is that I used to top of a car to serve as my makeshift tripod-replacement for that picture! Sooo ... the light reflections are from the top of that car, and not water, since the car was not wet! :D I thought about cropping the "effects" out, but I liked them, too, so I left them. And that's the truth about that. :o

You did a great job. One thing I have learned is you dont have to spend $$$$ on camera equipment if you are willing to study, and learn.

That picture should be your Christmas card if you ask me.

Expensive equipment just makes it easier.:D
