I don't even think Harris will play in the game. He left the game against the Knicks yesterday with a leg injury.

Luckily our next 3 games are (relatively) easy. If KD needs to rest his knee, then now is the time.

It's official, KD is OUT tonight with a sprained left knee. He is day to day so we don't know yet if he will play in the following game on Friday.

3 keys to the game:
1) Clean up on the glass. This is a young team that struggles in the rebounding department. Limit their offensive opportunities and increase our scoring opportunities.
2) Stay with their shooters. New Jersey is in the top half of the league in 3 pointers per game and can go off if given the opportunity.
3) Get to the foul stripe. Put the pressure on their interior players, as they are good offensively, but not quite as gifted on the defensive end.

You know what's crazy? There are people at the Jersey game going, "Damn, I wanted to see KD play. But at least we get to see Russell play."
We officially have two superstars on our team, guys.

Thunder have a great 3rd Qtr (27-13) to take the lead by 9 with 12 minutes to play. The Double Deuce is the MVP so far in the game for OKC. How does KRIS-tich have only 1 board in 20 minutes?

This team is MUCH better down the stretch than last season! Even without KD, maybe it shouldn't have ever been that close, but this is great experience for our players.

The Double Deuce was mighty studly sinking those 3 FT's in the 2nd OT! Too bad only about 13,000 saw it there in NJ. They have a much improving team and are missing out.

Great game last night. Scared my husband half to death at the end of the 2nd OT. He thought I had either hurt myself or gone into labor!!!

How does KRIS-tich have only 1 board in 20 minutes?
And more importantly, who's telling him how to pronounce his last name? Every telecast in the pre-game starting lineup on TV, he says it "Ney-Nad Kerr-Stich"...What the heck?

A lot of people in the Thunder organization pronounce it that way but the game notes pronunciation guide says: NEY-nad KRIS-tich and when he himself says it on the TV broadcasts during lineups, he also says NEY-nad KRIS-tich. It's kind of a running joke here about his name.
Also, I noticed in the regular medias recap of the game, they noted that he played for the Nets for 4 years but got very little applause when introduced there. I'll let others draw their own conclusions about that. :)
