Gametime is 7:30pm Saturday night. This is also the first Thunder game to be shown on Fox Sports Oklahoma.
On paper, you would have to pick Houston to win this game but in the NBA, on any given night, anyone can beat anyone. Lets hope for a very pleasant surprise on Saturday night in this game.

I watched the Rockets beat the Mavs the other night. While I agree that on any given night any team can be beaten, it might smart to have been beaten by the Thunder during preseason. I think the Rockets will win this one.
Rockets 109
Thunder 95

Last year, the Sonics did play one good game in Seattle vrs the Rockets. And the Rockets had Yao and McGrady, it was a 2 pt loss. But the Sonics had Kurt Thomas to defend Yao.

The Thunder get drummed tonight in Houston. Nobody to stop Yao and Artest will shut down Durant.
We gotta root hard for a win vrs Minnie tomorrow, cause the schedule looks rough for the next few games.

I'll be curious to see if Robert Swift gets activated tonight to try and help Petro in the post defensively....Bogut did a great job the other night of making us pay inside early and then finding the open man when the Thunder adjusted....

Thunder: 97

Tiebreaker - Robert Swift plays and doesn't suffer any broken bones.

The word is that Swift will play tonight.
We may get an idea how he will play. If he can make a showing against Yao, he might give us an a peak of what he is worth to the team. Tonight is his(Swift) chance to make the starting line up.

I'm headed to Norman in a few minutes. Going to watch the OU hoops team scrimmage in the old field house, then watch OU/Nebraska.
And I'd rather stay home and watch the Thunder lose to the Rockets. That's never happened before.

Houston Rockets = 105
O-City Thunder = 89
Durant will be shut down again tonight by Ron Artest, 11 points for KD.
Westbrook will lead the team in scoring tonight with 22 points, most of which will come in the fourth quarter.
Robert Swift will FIND another injury so that he doesn't have to play for a few more weeks, this will give him more time at the tatoo palor and getting his hair and nails done. (Also does that guy wear makeup too??)
GO THUNDER!! GO!!

Not as good as the OU/Nebraska game. LOL
Thunder need to get to the line more in the 2nd half. We shot a lot better from the field than the Rockets in the 2nd quarter to get it close.

Thunder lose 89-77. PJ only played 9 players tonight.
No Robert Swift? Maybe they are saving him for Sunday night.

Or maybe they're worried he's like one of those cheap plastic toys at the Dollar Store. The second you take him out of the box it loses an arm.

Thunder/Rockets game thoughts:
I thought the team came out with a lot more energy and hustle tonight.
Offensively, they had some good looks at the cup but just could not knock down the shots. I like this team better when they push the ball instead of running their half court offense. The half court sets seem to take to long to develop and it usually breaks down or they have to force up a shot as the 24 second clock is about to expire. Having no three point shooter is still a glaring weakness.
The defense stepped it up tonight. They seem to frustrate the Rockets for three quarters and did a decent job inside the paint. They are still giving up to many second shots.
If the Thunder could have played like this last Wednesday night they would have beaten the Bucks.
Did anyone else notice a problem with the audio during tonight's game? The court mics seem a lot louder than the announcers mics. I could barely hear Davis and Long.

I had the same problem though I ended up listening to the radio broadcast (for the first time) for most of the game while viewing OU/Nebraska.
