Updating the roster that I received last night at the open practice:

Nick Collison, Kevin Durant, Jeff Green, John Lucas III, Desmond Mason,
Johan Petro, Mouhamed Sene, Joe Smith, Robert Swift, Earl Watson,
Kyle Weaver, Russell Westbrook, DJ White, Chris Wilcox, Damien Wilkins.

Interesting that Lucas is still on the roster. What are the chances that he will be when the preseason is done? My emotions are to favor him but what little (very little) intellectual judgment I have in such matters causes me to pause.

We will probably have to wait and see what other players are waived from other rosters. What's the number of players that can be on a roster?

When I asked this question some weeks ago, the answer given was 15.

I've heard Lucas is looking for a place to rent. I don't know if that means he thinks he's going to be here longer term or not.

Sheesh Lucas sucks. We'd be better of cutting him and signing Dan Dickau or no one at all. I was hoping Byars would make it.

Me too. I thought Byars showed some promise. Lucas is all enthusiasm, but is not showing NBA calibre talent.

For the minutes he's played, I thought Lucas was a spark, spelled Wesbrook, and Watson, and showed hustle. Unless someone gets cut from another team, he should be ok as a 3rd guard.
