Be glad you OKCites dont have to suffer through the sacramento King's broadcast on NBA tv. They are the most horrible imaginable. Every year I cringe when I have to watch the matchup from Arco arena. (sound of stomach wrenching!)

It'll be interesting to see the starting lineup next Monday/Tuesday in Tulsa/OKC. The main guys won't play a lot of minutes in BOTH games.

That's funny. On ESPN's GameCast, Derrick Byars looks strikingly like Kevin Love....oh crap, that is Kevin Love.

Thunder had a good 3rd quarter and cut their deficit to 69-64. Thunder are only 9-19 in FT's so that makes up the difference as of now.

I thought Desmond's free throw shot looked better last game, but now it looks like he's got that odd lean again. Can't be missing that many free throws.

I'm guessing this will be a theme all year round......They just cannot close games out. I know Durant is not in there, but, its not like he's a guaranteed 4th quarter assassin yet. Oh well, I guess if Hilton Armstrong always looks like a young Daryl Dawkins every preseason and turns into DJ Mbenga during the regular season, then I hope the opposite can be true, where a horrible showing in the preseason does not necessarily lead to a disasterous showing in the regular season.

Whitney Houston's ex is hitting 3 pointers at the wrong time dammit.

"Everybody's talking all this stuff about me, why don't they just let me live (Tell me why!!!)/I don't need permission to make my own decision (Ohhh!!) / Its my perogative"

Good news/ bad news

Good news: We're shooting 43% from 3 pt. land
Bad news: We've only attempted 7 3-pointers.

I feel like Thunder8thSeed during the middle of the Hornets season last year. "Alllllll by my...self/ Don't want to be...../ All by my..self"

That was moderately painful, but I suspect there will be more days like these. On the other hand, it's great to have a team, regardless of the outcome of these games.

This being a late night game is part of it. Same thing Saturday night. Monday and Tuesday should be exciting though.

I'm watching the Tulsa game on TV. Perhaps some of the forum members who live near there will be going to the game.

Well, on the good news side, this team appears to have little if any quit, regardless of the situation. Nice comeback without their star player in the game. They just need to learn how to finish it off.

Russell Westbrook has a learning curve, but after two games he's looking like more than just a potential spark plug for the team, he's looking like a real attitude bringer. Did you see that dunk he attempted right after having his previous shot blocked? Forget the center's name who blocked it, but Westbrook came right back after him, as if to say, let's see you block this. I said the other night it wasn't fair to compare him to Chris Paul, but he does remind me of Paul in one respect - he's absolutely fearless.

Weaknesses from the Kings game:
1- Free throw shooting...Can anyone make two in a row?
2- No three point shooters...Something we will need while trying to come from behind this year.
3- Can't finish drives at the hoop.
4- Shot selection.
5- Struggling against the bottom feeds in the league.

Positives:
1- Tough Defense.
2- Hustle and getting offensive boards.
3- Competitive without Durant.
4- It's only game two of the preseason.

KSBI had a better signal for the game than the Montana game did. No lines!:)

It`s just preseason and I`m just glad we have a team as Betts mentioned...

Agree on both counts. He does remind me of Chris in that regard. He's going to be fun to watch. I don't think he'll progress as fast as Chris did, and probably he'll never be the player Chris is, but I like his attitude and apparent work ethic.

Good points Betts but that's okay. We all need to realize Chris was a once-a-generation player so it's unfair to judge Westbrook to him. However, I think with his hard work and effort the OKC fans will embrace him in the same way they did to Chris.

I think this team will be fun to watch. Yeah they'll lose a lot. So what. I remember being in high school in 1996 and hearing about the Cavs winning the CBA title. I'll take the NBA doormat over the CBA champs anytime.

I think the main point of last night was that "Hey let's hope Kevin Durant doesn't get hurt!"

Also, they need to come out of the gates faster. Hit Hard First.
