This isn't a formal invitation or announcement, because I wasn't sure how many people would be interested. But....I would invite anyone who is interested to go to Buffalo Wild Wings on NW Expressway to watch the game Wednesday night. It starts at 7, and if people want to get there early, we can meet in the back room on the west side of the restaurant and try to put names to faces. Wear your Thunder gear and prepare to watch history take place!

I'll be there ... but the game time has been changed to 8:00 p.m.

A good time was had by all. We had a group of 20+, although many of them had names that would not be recognizable to members here. I enjoyed meeting Rod4Sooners and Thunderhead, and Doug was there with his camera.

Ed Lynn stopped by and told us there will be some exciting promotions this season, being capped off by a roundtrip ticket to Boston to see the Thunder play the Celtics later in the year. They'll apparently also be giving away tickets to regular season games, so it might not be a bad idea to make BWW a place to watch away games.

I was so bummed to have to had missed this!

But, I knew at about 3:30pm I wasn't going to be able to get out of the house... spent all evening helping my overwhelmed, underinspired AP Sophomore do his AP English 2 and AP European History projects.. .. we both silently questioned his decision to take so many Hard courses! yuk.. but, I'm looking forward to the next one for sure!

He's on Chapter 11 - Protestant Reformation.... he's only 15 and he's hating life about now. Has a huge test tomorrow and I'm trying to help him with flashcards etc etc... Last night I stayed up until midnight trying to help him find 5 Literary Elements in each chapter of the Animal Farm .... ugh.. didn't I do enough of this when I was in school? And now, we're back to European History.

We all need a break! I can't wait to go to a Thunder Game and soon!

Been there, done that Karrie, so I commiserate. Two nights ago I helped my son edit his paper for Mass Comm at OU. It never ends!

At 9:00 tonight while watching OSU getting crushed by Missouri, you might flip over to TNT for a moment and check out the outdoor basketball game between the Nuggets and Suns.
