anyone have any idea when we'll see a wider variety of products, specifically things made by people other than Adidas? I've been holding out for a "franchise" style ballcap and I'm starting to think I shouldn't hold my breath. In any event, if my Cubs hat(s) luck has served as any kind of an indicator over the years, there will be no added luck with a Thunder hat in tow this year. So I guess it's not the end of the world.

Just give it a little bit of time. All the stuff put out by adidas right now is simply preliminary merch. The hats only have the Thunder logo (and it's not even a "3-D" logo like 95% of the other hats on the market) and the adidas stripes on the back. The t-shirts only feature the logo as well. I'm pretty sure the team was just in a rush to get some merch out to the fans, and adidas produced some "bare bones" hats and shirts. Once the jerseys, shooting shirts and jackets, warm-up pants, etc arrive, then there may be a better selection of merch. Also, when the Thunder merch finally branches out a bit, check out Lids (http://www.lids.com)every so often. They always have a very good selection of all kinds of hats.

instead of ordering all of the player jerseys. I ordered the road jersey and put the name as THUNDER and I will have all of the players sign it. Just an idea instead of spending a fortune on all of the jerseys.

I want to buy a pair of the shorts. If anyone sees those available, let me know.

They had some of the practice shorts at one of the sports stores in Quail Springs Mall. Can' remember the name of the store, but it's across from El Chico and CinnaMonster. That's all I've seen so far.

Okay, authentic jerseys are exactly what the players wear on the court. The logos, name and numbers are sewn on the authentics. These are the most expensive jerseys you can buy, but sometimes you'll get luck on eBay (i got an authentic CP3 teal jersey a few years back). These retail for upwards of $200.

Replica jerseys are the cheapest, but they quality is not near as good as the others. The name, logos and numbers are all screen printed onto the shiny material, which means after repeated washings the screen printing will crack and eventually fall off the jersey. Also, most replicas have some subtle differences than the on-court jerseys. Things like piping colors, trim and alternate logos may be different. Depending on where you buy these, replicas can cost between $34.99 to $49.99.

Swingman jerseys are my favorite. They basically combine the elements of the authentic and replicas for a pretty good price. First, the jersey material itself is very "hole-y," meaning the holes are significantly larger than that of authentics or replicas. It doesn't look bad at all, and it breathes a little better. Second, the numbers, name and logos are screen printed onto cutouts and sewn onto the jersey. This gives the swingmans a different look than the replicas, but almost identical to the authentics. The piping and trim are the exact same as the authentics, and most swingmans include the alternate logos if applicable. The only negative regarding swingmans is their length. These are cut a little longer than the replicas, so it makes sizing kind of any issue. These retail for $75 with player names, or over $100 customized with your own name.

Hibbet Sports?

That's the one. They're basically black mess shorts with white adidas stripes down the sides, and a screen-printed Thunder logo on the left leg.
