He was at the Cubs Cardinals game yesterday. He sat a row in front of me two people down. Talked to him during one half inning. Told him my family were season tickets holders (who were at the game with me). He thanked us for the support and said they are planning on making the playoffs next year. He said he really likes OKC, because everyone is so nice. He said some places people are nice but not really sincere about it. He was flying back to okc today probably for workouts and shoot arounds.

A very postive experience.

Here he is looking up during the 7th inning stretch.

Damn, small world huh? Did he seem like a humble down to earth kinda guy or did he have a cocky attitude like he was a big shot pro ball player?

Very down to earth. No one else knew who he was, so he was suprised when i said his name. He was very talkative. Didnt get the "quit bothering me" vibe from him at all.

In the Cubs jersey? I don't know how you recognized him. Glad you made contact with him and told him where you are from.

I'm pretty sure there aren't too many 6'9 guys with a swollen jaw walking around. I could be wrong though.

that was the thing, i thought it was him but wasnt sure, but then i saw his wrist and he had a blue "OKC Thunder" bracelet. Like one of those yellow live strong bracelets.

Very cool! The odds of that happening are pretty big! I think if I was a player, I'd be wearing my team stuff everywhere I went though. Who knows, maybe I'd get tired of it!

That's cool...I'm not the type that get's all crazy over famous people or autographs but the only famous person I've ever met was Trey Parker from Southpark. I figured he'd be a total dick but he was actually trying to have a conversation with me...he was pretty cool.

That is awesome. I wish I could to make it to Wrigley this year.
