Or, at least that's what the Thunder management would like to see per an e-mail I just got:

Charlotte Bobcats (35-43) at Oklahoma City Thunder (21-57), 7pm on Friday at Ford Center.
This is the last home game of our 1st season with the Oklahoma City Thunder. Hopefully we finish the home schedule (with 3 road games to follow) with a win!

Here are various things I received in my email from the Thunder organization about Friday's game:
FRIDAY IS THE DEADLINE!
Friday is the deadline to renew your tickets for the 2009-2010 Oklahoma City Thunder season. Click here, call 405-208-4666, or stop by Renewal Central (located outside section 110) at tomorrow night's game. Rise Together!

OWN A PIECE OF HISTORY: GAME-WORN JERSEYS AVAILABLE TO PUBLIC
Thunder fans will have a unique opportunity Friday night to bid on jerseys worn by Thunder players during this historic first season. The "Jerseys Off Our Backs" auction will benefit the Oklahoma City Thunder Community Foundation Fund. Bidding starts on the concourse outside the Thunder Shop at 5:30 p.m. and ends 10 minutes after the final buzzer. Many of the jerseys will actually be worn by Thunder players during the final game.

The Bobcats have opened as early 3 1/2 point favorites. They have a very outside chance of making the playoffs in the last 6 days of the season though I am sure the Thunder really want to finish their home schedule this season with a win.

Ohhhhh, looks like the Bobcats are coming in to OKC mad because they are in a playoff push and have to finish the season on a 4 game road trip. Too bad, the schedule is 41 home games and 41 away games for everyone! They should have won more games earlier!

Thunder - 105
BETcats - 97
Although this messes up my chances of winning the Final Record contest, I'm hoping (and guessing) that we win this game handily.

is calling the Bobcats 'The Kitties' really needed? I dont see anyone calling the Hornets the 'dead bugs' or the Lakers the 'dried up river basins'

Actually, it is. I try to have a clever name for the opposing team for every game I make a prediction in. I called the Timberwolves the "Lumber Puppies", so why should the Bobcats get any special treatment?

Yeah me too. But i think tonight the thunder will eliminate them. I am not sad because the Bobcats have not played well, have not closed games, and my 2nd favorite team is closing the door on them. I have no problem with the fact that they will most likely lose tonight

I think the 'cats played very well tonite. They--like the Thunder--have a real core group that should stir things up next season.
Please remind me how Charlotte ended up with Diop, Diaw, and Vladamir...I was surprised to see the enthusiasm as well as Emeka & Augustin really getting after it on both ends. Was an exciting finish and a fun game to watch!!
Sorry to have burst your bubble for this season but lets hope both your teams are successful in a play-off run next year.
BTW, I only have one allegiance--the Thunder :D:p;)

Just got home from the game, great game, especially since we won! I was a little worried there at the end, but we pulled it out.
Dang, Westbrook is really forcing it, or trying to do too much, not sure. Seems like he was constantly losing the ball, he's got to get better next year at the turnovers. If its not there, pass it!

Wow, 9 turnovers by number ZERO but at least we got the win! After losing our 2 season ending home games as the OKC Hornets, it feels great to leave the Ford Center to end the home season as a winner! They were already starting construction as I left. The season ending video after the game was cool. I didn't bid on the game worn jerseys though.
Now lets finish the season with 3 more wins on the road!

Interesting fact concerning our home record:
Home record during sellouts: 3-15
Home record during non-sellouts: 12-11

Also, we are 8-36 (with 1 game left) against the 16 teams who made the playoffs this season. We are 14-21 against the non-playoff teams.
We won 2 season series (against Memphis and Sacramento) for a 5-2 record.
We have split (so far) 11 season series for a 14-14 record.
Against the other 16 teams we are only 3-41. Obviously we have to figure out a way to start beating those 16 teams once or twice a year next season.
