Blake Griffin to play for Sooners on Saturday

Oklahoma forward Blake Griffin will play Saturday in the Sooners' game against Texas Tech.
OU head coach Jeff Capel announced Griffin was cleared to play by team doctor Brock Schnebel following practice on Friday.
Griffin sustained a concussion last Saturday in the first half of Oklahoma's loss to Texas. Griffin did not play the second half of that game and he also missed OU's loss to Kansas on Monday.
Griffin, 6-10, 251 pounds, leads the Big 12 with 22 points and 13.8 rebounds a game and ranks second in the country with 22 double-doubles.
The Sooners and Red Raiders tip-off at 2:30 p.m. Saturday on KOCO-5 (Cox 8).
