Kevin Durant and Jeff Green (plus 7 others) will be playing for the sophomores. Russell Westbrook (and 8 others) will be playing for the rookies. That would be cool if all 3 are on the court at the same time.
The game will be broadcast on TNT on Friday starting at 8pm Central.

Is Oden playing for the Rooks?
I'm pretty sure he is. It would be strange for him to win MVP playing for the Sophs, and then have a monster second half of the season, and end up winning Rookie of the Year. Of course, him winning any of these two awards are pretty slim to none, but still the logistics of it all wouldn't make sense.

According to the NBA.com preview, Durant has been playing some center for us, anyone remember that?

I can imagine a situation or two where KD, Westbrook, Green, Watson, and Weaver/Atkins/Mason have all been on the floor together and that would make Durant or Green the de facto center.

Durant just brought the Sophs back from a 12 point deficit all by himself in about 1 minute. 2 three pointers, a long 2, and an assist.....all in the span of less than a minute.

Complete side note: I just saw a commercial for a new shoe company called Protege, in which they use Al Harrington as their spokes-player. The shoes will be sold exclusively at..........KMart. Thank you Shaq and Stephon for forever ruining the shoe game.

Cannot wipe the grin off my face from KD's performance. Think he impressed a few folks that had never heard of OKC Thunder?

I have it recorded on my Cox DVR, but its in Hi-Def and if I try to transfer it to dvd-r it will have bars on the top and bottom and the picture aspect will be out of whack. This Cox equipment sucks and its just another reason I'm very close to going Dish, they have much better DVR's. Cox is still using the same Atlantic Scientific DVR they issued 5 years ago.
But you might watch NBA TV over the next few days, they might repeat it there. I see the skills challenge and the All Star game will repeat Monday.

I am guilty of taking KD for granted too much, he really is a great player , and he's only 20.
I'm getting scared now about resigning him. Everytime Kenny The Jet talked about never seeing him play in OKC , it made me cringe.

Don't worry about it. Winning cures all. When this team starts winning a lot of games in the next couple of years, they'll get plenty of nationally televised games.

This isn't his rookie season, he played a year in seattle... Kenny didn't watch him there apparently either. It all comes down to good teams get watched more than bad teams.

My thoughts exactly...it doesn't matter how small the market is, when the team starts winning at a playoff rate, the national talking heads will know about all of our young guys. This weekend was a good first step towards that.

Yeah, we all know who Paul Millsap is and he is the backup for Boozer in a small market...but they win and have a great coach. NYK has sucked, therefore they don't get televised and I may know David Lee, but someone who doesn't watch a lot of basketball prolly doesn't know squat about that lineup.

Actually, I bet we'll get significantly more games next year, although it wouldn't have to be too many to be significant, simply because we have Kevin Durant on the team. And, if the team does well, they frequently add on games as the season goes on.
