These moves make perfect sense, and I would think Presti can make them happen.

Okay, trades are always two sided. What do we get from both teams and how does it work under the CBA?
Everytime I see a thread like this one... I get all excited and click them with anticipated joy only to find that they are not real news... when will I learn.
but, yeah I think those would be two teams that could possibly be looking at those players...
Updated: Thank you...

Knowing how these hypothetical trades usually work, I would guess Dwight Howard and Kobe Bryant...

Lol, yeah, I think that would complete our team. I just hope we don't have to give up our first round pick. ;) Gotta build for the future, ya know.

I think I heard the cart pusher at Wal Mart say we would have to throw in Swift to get Howard and Ibaka and the girl that sells pizza on the 3rd floor concourse to get Kobe.

Dammit, I knew they would ask for her. She's just too good. :p:p

I'd trade Watson straight up for Cook just to get rid of him.

Why are we giving up a pick? It wouldn't work straight up because Reddick and Cook earn less than Watson combined.

Hai guise, this one could happen, and we don't even have to give up Green, Durant, or Westbrook. The second cousin of Clay Bennett's gardener's son-in-law told me that Presti has this deal on the table:
http://games.espn.go.com/nba/features/traderesult?players=2758~2384~1978~3029~788~2416~1 027~1731~2506~110&teams=25~25~13~13~13~13~19~13~19~25&te=&cash=
The only real question at this point is if we can get Kobe to re-sign with the Thunder.

AND we can swing Marcin Gortat with that deal? Sounds like a no-brainer!!

Nuggets report: Thunder's Atkins remains interested in Magic
By Chris Tomasson, Rocky Mountain News (Contact)
Published February 5, 2009 at 12:06 a.m.
When Orlando inquired in December about then-Nuggets point guard Chucky Atkins, he was intrigued by a possible deal.
Atkins was dealt to Oklahoma City on Jan. 7. But he still has interest in going to the Magic, which could use a point guard because of Jameer Nelson's shoulder injury.
"Of course," said Atkins, who lives in Orlando. "I'm a veteran guy. If I had an opportunity to win a championship, that's what every guy at this level wants to do. . . . But I'm not sitting here and saying I want to be moved . . . If it happens, it happens."
In the deal for Atkins, the Nuggets got center Johan Petro. Petro had two points and four rebounds in seven minutes Wednesday against his old team, while Atkins, whose minutes have been sporadic, didn't play.

That crazy Presti. He told the Rocky Mountain News about the wrong point guard. He must have had a hard day before he gave the interview.
Seriously, I really don't care which point guard they deal, as long as his name is not Westbrook. We have two career back ups on our team, and if we can get good value for one of them, then so be it.
